Travel Essentials for Dubai – Four Things to Pack In

One of the prettiest cities in the world surrounded by those gorgeous sand dunes and pristine beaches, Dubai has been on my bucket list for ages. Being a shopaholic, I’ve been dreaming of gliding down the extensive shopping malls and flea markets and overloading my bags. But I have been doing a lot of research and have zeroed on the essentials one would need to travel, based on the recommendations given by my friends who have been to this wonderland.

burj-khalifa-2212978_1920

One thing you have to remember before planning a trip to Dubai is that you need to save up – so you can splurge on the those shopping trips – and some upbeat nightlife – the pictures of the clubs that I have seen such as the Club Boudoir and XL Dubai are absolutely crazy and will lure you into saving up for that one big trip. You can however cut down on expenses by choosing smart accommodation or budget Dubai hotels and also by pre-booking your flights during offer periods. Keep a check on offers for Gulf Air, my friends are definitely recommending their services.

Getting down to the packing guide for Dubai, if your summers are destined to be in Dubai, make sure that you at least carry these essentials so that your trip can be an excellent one!

Clothing:

Well, you will need lots of summer clothing which are loose and breathable so that the heat does not get to you. Dubai is known to be humid with a very strong sun so light-coloured clothes which more or less cover your body is a good option as you do not want to get burned. Also avoid wearing very revealing outfits since Dubai is slightly conservative, and it is always a good idea to keep to keep a shayla (headscarf), an abaya (a long gown) or a jilbab (a long trench-like coat) handy to cover up in traditional places like mosques, souks and other conservative areas.

But that does not mean you don’t get to dress up! Dubai is filled with beaches and clubs so make sure you pack in some of your sexiest bikinis and those lovely dresses for the night clubs. Also, don’t forget to pack in warm clothing like a pashmina shawl and some comfortable sweaters and jackets because the place, being a desert, can become really chilly at night.

Shoes:

There’s really no restrictions on shoes but transport in Dubai is expensive which means you may have to walk around quite a bit. The best way to do that – packin some of your most comfortable sneakers in all sorts of quirky designs to be comfortable as well as grab those eyeballs. You can also pack in a couple of running shoes if you are planning to go for a jog around the beach.

Talking about the beach – you know flip-flops are a must to be around the water. But don’t forget to pack in some heels for the club and some boots for the desert as well.

Accessories:

Dubai is one elegant city where you cannot but help yourself dress-up. Get yourself some day-long totes which will help you carry around everything you need from makeup and water bottles to an extra pair of clothes. Scarves and sunglasses are a must to protect yourself from the sun, so make sure you’re carrying at least one pair of shades (make sure it’s polarized) and a few scarves. Scarves will not only help you cover up in the sun and mix into the local crowd, they are also a great way to pump up your outfits with a dash of colour.  Don’t forget to pack in a pashmina at least because the nights and shopping mall ACs can get chilly and uncomfortable.

Sunscreen and Anti-Tan Packs:

I have heard that one may have to use copious amount of sunscreen to avoid being burnt during the days. Knowing my skin and the troubles it can cause, it seems like I’d definitely need a bucket load of it every day. Pack up sunscreens which protect you both against UVA and UVB rays with a minimum SPF of 50.

It would also be ideal to carry some of your favourite skin repairing or anti-tan packs to soothe your skin at the end of a long day. Look for ones which contain multani mitti or lemon, as they are quick to minimise the effects of sun damage. If you cannot carry your masks, go the old-fashioned way and run your skin with lime juice and sugar for instant relief.

This is just a basic list of things that you will need to visit this lovely place but make sure you keep enough space to bring back your shopping treasures. So when are you headed out?

xoxo

kalki-and-me

I have been shaving since I was 14. I started off with a basic mens razor and then slowly shifted to Gillette Venus. When Gillette invited me for the launch of their new product Gillette Venus Breeze, I was more than happy to oblige. The event took place in The Oberoi, Bangalore. The event started with me having conversations about shaving with other fellow bloggers and soon, Kalki joined us along with Dr.Rashmi Shetty and lead makeup artist Namrata Soni for a educative session on busting shaving myths.

I must say, before attending the event, I thought I knew everything there was about shaving. But I was pleasantly surprised to learn so much more. What is so special about this new product you ask? Well to begin with, the razor comes with moisture gel bars which eliminates the need to use soap/shaving gel before hand. Being a lazy girl that I am, this is a sheer blessing. Apart form that, the razor has 3 closely knit blades that gives you a super close shave. I was quite happy to learn about all these during the event.

Once the product was unveiled, the three guests of honor then went on to bust shaving myths. I learned quite a lot during this session. For example, did you know that it is not necessary to shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth as we are so often told ? This held true during the primitive times when the razors din’t come with closely knit blades. With the introduction of Breeze, which has super close blades, shaving in the opposite direction is quite unnecessary. There were a dozen more myths that was bust but I am going to be talking about it in a separate post.

After the fun educative session, we continued the conversations over food, which was delicious. I left the event with lessons learnt and new friends made.

I am going to reviewing the product and writing about shaving myths in a separate post.

xoxo

Gillette Venus Breeze Review in India

Gillette Venus Breeze Review in India

In the previous 2 posts I introduced Gillette Venus Breeze to you guys. I got to attend the launch event with Kalki Koechlin where Dr. Rashmi Shetty bust some of the shaving myths that I had been harboring since I started shaving. Some of them were quite interesting and I had to share them with you.

Some of the shaving myths you can say goodbye to:

Your hair grows back thicker and faster if you shave: This is one of the biggest shaving myth that we all harbor. Let me bust it for you – NO, your hair doesn’t grow back thicker or faster when you shave. You see, when you wax, you are pulling your hair out of the root, so it will take longer to grow back, but when you shave, it is cut at the skin level so you might feel like its growing back faster or thicker. The rate of hair growth remains the same regardless of the method you use.  Body doesn’t change its hair growth rate based on the tool you use.

You need to shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth: This one took me by surprise. In old days when the razors were not as sharp as they are now, it was necessary for us to shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth. But with razors like the Gillette Venus Breeze, which comes with 3 close knit blades that ensure super close smooth shave, its quite unnecessary to shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth. You can shave in any direction and you will still get a super smooth shave none the less.

Its only men that shave, while we women need to wax: Ummm, this is an absolute sexiest misconception. Being a women doesn’t mean you shouldn’t shave. With us taking on more responsibilities each day, we hardly have time to take a waxing appointment or sit through the long process that waxing can be. Also, in order to wax, you need to allow your hair to grow back to a certain length as short hair can’t be waxed. But with us choosing to show off our legs, who has the patience to run around looking like a bear, waiting for the hair to grow back?

These are some of the shaving myths I wanted to bust.

xoxo

I have always had a thing for velvet. Though I never imagined myself wearing it as a teen, it has always been a cloth of wonder. I think I have subconsciously associated velvet with plush upholstery that you find in the houses of rich suburban housewives who I imagine spend all their time decorating and redecorating  their homes with one new trend or the other. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it can even be liberating in many ways if you have the luxury of time, but I have never imagined myself to be one of them. Similarly, I never imagined, in my wildest dreams, for velvet to transcend from a piece of furniture fabric to a coveted fashion statement. But it has somehow managed to do just that and now I hear its one of the most selling fabrics at Mood[mood is a upscale fabric store in NYC where most designer labels buy their cloths from]. This is a testament to the fact that there are no rules in fashion. What can be viewed as obnoxious today can be an absolute fashion statement tomorrow.

As a fashion blogger, I am more into street style than designer wear. I shop in stores that are more street friendly than those that scream over the top fashion. When I spotted velvet in stores like Forever21, I couldn’t help but pick it up. I am not a kind of person that follows trends blindly, I have my own mind and taste for fashion, I am sure all of us do. But then if thats the case, I have always wondered how “trends” work? How does an entire generation suddenly seem to love a particular style of clothing over the other? I think there is something to be said about collective psyche here. Each decade, we fashion loving humans, fall in love with a certain style collectively. In the 90’s it was crop tops and chokers, in the early 2000’s it was low rise, wide legged jeans and now we are into minimalist aesthetics. So, I think for those said reasons, I couldn’t help but fall in love with velvet when I spotted it in stores. I have already bought a few velvet dresses as we speak. One of which, a short deep red number, has already been worn at a event and has been a subject of several compliments from fellow bloggers and you guys alike[see here].

When I spotted this particular velvet slip dress in a store, I had second thoughts about it and din’t buy it at the first go. But the days that followed were filled with regret and I went back to the store the same week, relieved to find the dress still available. There are several ways in which you can style slip dresses and I have demonstrated 2 of them here.

Travel. Is it a luxury or a necessity? If you ask me, travel is really a luxury.  Lets be honest, not everyone can travel – be it because of time, commitments or money. You need to be privileged to travel – you need to be earning well enough to afford it, have no one depending on you, have enough time on your hands and be healthy enough to be able to globe-trot. If you can’t travel because of any of those reasons and are tired of seeing all those posts on social media, don’t beat yourself up –  there will come a time when you can. But when the time comes, remember, travel is a commitment. To travel often, you need to constantly plan, push people around you to plan with you, save money and leaves, and go on that journey that you have been dreaming of forever. Personally, I tend to get super busy in my life as I am constantly juggling a full time job with a successful blog and I find that if I don’t plan, nobody else around me will plan for me and travel doesn’t happen.

I recently took a trip to Thailand and I fell in love with the country. As Indians, we can often be narrow-minded and tend to associate Thailand with the stereotypes its known for. But Thailand is a beautiful country with great shopping escapades(high street, designer and street), food, night life and breath-taking landscapes. This was my second time travelling to Thailand. I had been there a year ago in collaboration with Tourism of Thailand and both of those times I had such varied experiences that I decided to make a comprehensive list of things you need to see/do and tell you what you need to know to plan an off-beat trip there. If you are anything like me, you know how boring main-stream can get!

Thailand Visa and Currency:

For Indians, Thailand has a visa on arrival option. But you can also apply for visa from here. If you are opting for visa-on-arrival, you should know that it will take you upto 2 hours to get your passport stamped with visa at the Thailand airport. The documents you need for visa on arrival are: your valid passport, 10,000 Baths in cash(visa costs 2000 Bhats), your flight ticket details, hotel reservation details, an immigration card(you will be given that in your flight) and a filled visa-on-arrival form. I would strongly suggest exchanging currency in India before you travel to Thailand. Use plastic money(credit/debit cards) only in renowned places that looks legitimate.

Places to visit in Thailand:

Divide your time between cities and beach towns. Make it a point to visit Bangkok – the city is alive and buzzing with shopping malls, restaurants and street markets(I will get to a comprehensive list in a minute). When it comes to beaches, choose either southern Thailand which has Krabi, Phuket and Phi Phi islands or Eastern Thailand which has Koh Samui. Both the coasts are beautiful with crystal blue waters and ocean air to get you addicted to nature for days.

Things to do in Bangkok:

  1. Shop, shop and shop: Bangkok is a shopping heaven – be it luxury or street. You can find your luxury brands like Louis Vuitton in Siam Paragon, high-street like Zara and Mango in Siam center and Terminal 21 where each floor resembles a different town of the world and do your street shopping in Little Siam by walking around its many alleys. MBK doesn’t disappoint either when it comes to street shopping.  I usually always stop by Siam Centre when I am in Thailand. It is where highstreet and street shops exist right next to each other in harmony. You also need to experience the weekend markets when in Thailand.
  2. Khao San street:  The place defines Bangkok’s night life for me. Its a party street packed with bars where the party always spills out on to the street itself. You will find people dancing and making merry into the wee hours of morning.
  3. Food: If you like experimenting with food, Bangkok has plenty to offer. The street food there is exceptionally experimental – I am talking scorpions here. You will notice fresh juice carts almost at every street corner.  Make it a point to try tender coconut water(and ice-cream if you will) when in Thailand. It tastes very different from Indian coconuts and you wont be disappointed.
  4. Floating Markets and Temples: An hours drive from Bangkok. You can book these tours via your hotel and they each will take at least a day to experience.

Finding a place to stay in Bangkok is no pain at all, as being a tourist destination, it is packed with hotels everywhere. I have stayed at Admiral Premier and Aloft, both of which are located in Sukhumvit which happens to be Bangkok’s tourist centre with quite a lot of hotel options. Both the hotels were decent in terms of ambience, service and cost.

Things to do in Krabi:

Krabi is more secluded than Phi Phi islands and Phuket but yet quite organised and has all the activities on offer. You are getting the best of both worlds here with the modern amenities amidst a serene beach town that is surrounded by tall, majestic mountains. I stayed at Krabi resort on Ao Nang beach and it was the best decision ever. It has a private beach of its own – the only resort in Krabi that has a private beach and the cottages were exquisite with an old world tropical charm to it. If you are ever going to Krabi, stay at Ao Nang street as its the center of all activities and you can travel to many places from there. It also has tourists shops where you can book your adventures.

  1. Take a 7 island trip: This is a noon to dusk island tour that will take you to the major islands around the area. This tours includes snorkelling and diving into the middle of the ocean at night to experience bio-luminescent plankton! The tour also includes dinner and if you are a vegetarian be sure to specify at the place where you are booking the tour.
  2. Kayaking in the Mangrove forest: The drive to the place where you can Kayak is beautiful and scenic. You get a stunning view of the sudden mountain formations of Krabi. The kayaking itself is done in shallow waters of Ao Luk that takes you to three main areas around Ao Luk in the north of the province: Ao Thalane (mangrove and canyons) at the southern tip of Phang Nga Bay; Bor Thor (ancient limestone caves); and Koh Hong (an island with a ‘hidden’ lagoon at its centre).
  3. Rock climbing: As I mentioned, Krabi is surrounded by scene mountains that are unlike anything you see in India. Let me try to explain – the mountains are these steep HUGE boulders that grow out of the earth suddenly without a gradual incline. Krabi is rated as one of the best spots in the world for rock climbing. Again, you can try anything from a few hours to several days.
  4. Emerald Pools and Hot Springs: The pool reflects a stunning emerald hue and is a natural hot spring that you can spend hours soaking in.
  5. Spending every evening exploring restaurants in Ao Nang street: Its a beautiful place that has extensive restaurants and bars on offer. My evenings there were dedicated to exploring all the restaurants that I could.
  6. Scuba Diving: Krabi offers Scuba diving classes. But you should not fly for upto 48 hours after taking one of these classes.

There are several other activities you can plan in Krabi. Check out this site to know everything you can do at Krabi https://www.yourkrabi.com/suggested-itinerary/. You can book all of the tours I mentioned from any of tourist information centers that are scattered across the Ao Nang street or from your hotel desk.

Things to do in Phuket:

Phuket is a very popular tourist destination in Thailand and as a result it can be quite crowded and expensive but none-the-less breathtaking with its crystal blue water, adventure sports and party destinations. Stay at Patong beach if you are travelling to Phuket as its in the central area and you can access/travel to all the places from there. I personally prefer Krabi over Phuket as its quieter.

  1. Take a walk on Patong Beach: Bar hop, shop and take a dip. This is the most popular beach in Phuket and you will generally love its vibes.
  2. Zip-Line in Flying Hanuman: Flying Hanuman is one of the largest zip-lining places in the world and it will leave you feeling exhilarated and triumphant after flying through its forests on a zip-line.
  3. Take the 4 island tour:  This is a morning to noon island tour that will take you to 4 main islands thats close to Phuket. This will include snorkelling, kayaking and other activities that you can explore. The tour also includes lunch and if you are a vegetarian be sure to specify at the place where you are booking the tour.
  4. Go to Trick Eye museum: The paintings and tricks that is executed on the floor and walls will leave you feeling quite tricked.

I went to Phuket with Tourism of Thailand last year and stayed at the JW Marriott that has its own private beach! You can book any of the activities mentioned via many tour agent shops thats spread along the Patong beach or ask your hotel desk for help.

Thailand, being a tourist country that it is, has its own set of notorious pick-pocketers. Just make sure you are careful to keep your belongings safe and you should do just fine!

Let me know if you want to know anything more about how to plan a trip to Thailand.

Parachute Advansed Coconut Crème Oil – A Full Review

I recently changed my hair color from having gold highlights to dark red balayage. I constantly feel the need to experiment with my hair every 6 months or so and although I mostly choose classic feminine palettes that show on my natural hair without having to bleach over the edgy colors that needs bleaching, coloring can still leave my hair feeling dried and damaged.

I was recently expressing these exact thoughts to my mom and out of the blue, I received a super-secret surprise product that claimed was going to change my hair game. It was an unbranded package of a “Pre-wash hair nourisher” and the package claimed that they would reveal who they were in a weeks time or so. My interest was piqued and I agreed to the experiment.

The package had absolutely no branding whatsoever. I opened it to find a bottle with a pump and an instruction card on how to use it. The instructions clearly stated that I had to use 4-5 pumps of the product, massage it onto the length of my hair and scalp, leave it on for 30 mins and rinse it off in one wash to get softer, smoother, more nourished hair.

I massaged the product on my scalp and the lengths of my hair as instructed and left it on for about 30 mins during which time I went for my daily walk. I washed my hair once the 30 mins were up – The product rinsed off quite easily in just 1 shampoo wash and I could instantly feel a difference in my hair. My hair was smoother, softer and more nourished! I was absolutely in love with my hair and couldn’t stop touching it.

I now wanted to know more about the product. I waited impatiently and in a week’s time I finally received the branded product, I was thrilled to find that the pre wash hair nourisher that had stolen my heart was from Parachute Advansed family! It’s a perfect blend of coconut oil and coconut milk. I have ever since been religiously using Parachute Advansed Coconut Crème Oil and my hair has thanked me for it. It feels healthier and nourished! I am a convert now. What I really love about the product is that it’s so easy, mess-free and non-sticky to use and works within 30 mins fitting perfectly into my busy schedule! It is also easier on my pockets. Now, I can continue experimenting with different looks for my hair without going through the guilt of not taking enough care of my hair.

I wanted to share my experience with you guys since so many of you ask about my hair. I hope this helped.

Himalaya Youth Eternity Range – An honest review – After using the product for 15 days

Youthful skin is probably one of the most sought out treasures in our day and age. We all want to look as young as possible for as long as possible. We spend hours at the gym working away at our bodies, watching what we eat(at least try to) and spend thousands of rupees on skincare that promise to change the way we look and feel. Feel, yes thats the magic word, we all want to feel good about ourselves when we look in the mirror.

But with so many anti-aging skincare clouding the shelves of a beauty store, how can we decide what is actually going to work and what wont? I mean, surely none of us want to spend on skincare that doesn’t work or even worse – something that can possibly harm our skin by making us breakout?

I was under a similar dilemma. I wanted to invest in an affordable anti-aging range but didn’t know where to look or begin. And miraculously, like they had heard my exact thoughts, Himalaya invited me to the launch of their new anti-aging skincare range called Youth Eternity. I attended, all apprehensive to discovery my miracle product and after using the product for close to 15 days now, I am glad to say I am not disappointed.

Himalaya Youth Eternity Range uses Edelweiss derived stem cells and botanical extracts that have powerful anti-aging properties. Edelweiss is a very rare flower that grows exclusively in the swiss alps and is known to the locals as the youth flower. Using this unique flower, Himalaya developed three innovative products for the Youth Eternity Range – a day cream with SPF 15, a night cream and an eye cream. I have used all three of them and I am absolutely in love with the whole range!

The day cream comes with a SPF 15 and has a very light texture that immediately disappears into the skin. Once applied, the skin starts feeling smoother within a few minutes. Since its quite light, you can top it up with other sunscreens/makeup and it will stay intact. It almost acts like a primer. The night cream on the other hand, has a bit more thicker texture but still quite light overall. It too gets absorbed into the skin quite easily and makes the skin feel plumper within minutes. The eye cream is super hydrating and light.

All 3 products have a pleasant scent to them and have super cute teal packaging. They are quite convenient to carry around in your handbag. Overall, after using these products religiously for a good 15 days, I can say that my skin feels smoother and the finer lines under my eyes are slowly disappearing. I especially love the night cream out of the three. I have promised myself to keep using these products and maintain a healthy skincare regimen to feel better about myself when I look in the mirror. The best thing about this anti-aging range, is the fact that it  is super affordable – each of the product is within INR 550.

I hope this review was helpful.

OktoberFest 2018 India

Beer, fun and festivities in a beautiful location right by the beach to take your mind off your worries and transport you to a weekend in Germany. Sounds too good to be true? But OktoberFest 2018 that took place in Sheraton Grand, Mahabalipuram on the 6th and 7th of October was exactly that and more.

I am quite sure most of you have heard about OktoberFest that takes place every year in Munich, Germany. It is the world’s largest beer festival held annually in Munich, with more than six million people from around the world attending the event every year. It is famous for its beer, folk music, festivities and traditional food. I have always wanted to attend it but lets be honest, with my busy schedule, making enough time to attend a fest all the way on the other side of the globe is quite impossible. So, when the amazing pair or Rosh&Pavi told me that they were bringing the festival home and wanted me to be a part of it, I was excited like a little kid. Yes, I had heard of the festival and was vaguely aware of what to expect(beer!) but traditional nitty gritties, which Rosh&Pavi ensured were a part of the Indian OktoberFest, were what took me by surprise. For instance, women wearing dirndl(a traditional German costume) could be seen everywhere in the fest.

The fest took place largely in a magnanimous tent that was installed right by the beach. Barre beer was served freely while German artists played traditional German folk songs while people danced and drank to general merriment. That was my initial introduction to the fest. The fest soon progressed to a groovy banter with a popular line up of artists playing some of my favourite EDM tracks. The weather outside was a perfect tropical humid with a light breeze playing throughout and the atmosphere inside was infectious with joy. I couldn’t stop dancing while making new friends. Day one ended with a loud cheerful laughter followed by an after-party.

I was exhausted but was looking forward to day two already because I knew the line-up for day two was better. After spending the afternoon at the pool we proceeded to the tent to see find an even more boisterous atmosphere. I vaguely remember seeing Nikhil Chinnapa, Tuhin Mehta and Dualist Inquiry among several other artists casually strolling around and mingling with people. Day two also had a second stage setup inside the hotels arena which was a perfect respite for anyone looking to escape Mahabalipuram’s sticky humidity. I remember dancing until my toes hurt and laughing until my jaws felt permanently etched in a smile.

That was my first experience with OktoberFest! I cannot wait to be back next time.

xoxo

Brighten and Whiten your Skin from Within – Glutone 1000 with EscorZ Review

Best vitamin C tablets in India

Best vitamin C tablets in India

All of us want beautiful, smooth, bright and clear skin free of any bumps and marks because after all, the skin is the biggest organ on our body that everybody can see. Its often said that what we eat is what we are and I did not believe it to be true until a few years ago when I started noticing tiny bumps and marks all over my skin. The bumps were mostly concentrated on my chin, around my nose and on my forehead while the marks were more prominent on my cheek area. These bumps and marks literally shadowed my features and beauty with their presence. That is when I unfortunately discovered that no matter how beautiful your features are, an unhealthy looking skin can make you look bad and dampen your confidence and break your spirit.

I met with a friend of mine who was studying nutrition at the time and she told me that these were signs of aging. She further elaborated that with age, women tend to get age spots and wrinkles and it is especially common these days as women are more stressed than ever with them going out to work every day and travelling in pollution and sun to do so.  Well, with power comes responsibility they say and in our case the responsibility is mostly about making that extra time and putting in that extra effort to take care of ourselves amid all our extensive commitments.  My friend also told me that I can delay aging by committing myself to a healthy lifestyle with nutritious diet that would help me meet my daily vitamin requirements and by also exercising.

But here’s the thing, with my busy lifestyle, I don’t have the time to prep my meal always and end up eating out quite a lot which don’t exactly help me meet my daily nutritional requirements. But thank god for vitamin tablets. They help us keep our health in check by providing us with the required nutrition. Two such tablets that I swear by which has literally improved the quality of my skin tone is Glutone 1000 and EscorZ which I take together. Why I take these 2 together and how do they help? Well read on to know more.

What is Glutone 1000 and why is it important?

Best vitamin C tablets in India

Best vitamin C tablets in India

Glutone 1000 is a daily Glutathione supplement that comes in an effervescent tablet format. I usually drop 1 tablet it in a glass of water along with Escor Z to create a fizzy, citrusy drink and I drink this every day.

What is Glutathione you ask? Well Glutathione is the body’s natural antioxidant which is critical for optimum health of every cell. It’s often referred to as the “master antioxidant” as it is essential for healthy immune function, detoxification, skin health and so on. Glutathione levels in our bodies decline with age and hence we see an increase in dark spots and other age related problems on our skin and body.

Supplementing Glutathione orally is important to ensure healthy aging. Glutathione imparts skin lightening and anti-aging benefits. It works by encouraging production of lighter melanin pigment (pheomelanin) over its darker counterpart (eumelanin). Orally consumed Glutathione effectively lightens the skin and its regular consumption also helps to boost immunity, stamina and detoxification.

Glutone 1000 is designed to harness skin lightening benefits of Glutathione and it contains the world’s best Glutathione called “SETRIA Glutathione” – the pioneer in Glutathione research on various health issues. SETRIA Glutathione is also GRAS approved.

Key ingredients is Glutone 1000 are

  1. L-Glutathione – helps in improving skin tone, is a master antioxidant, helps in reducing wrinkles and lightens the skin visibly
  2. Vitamin C –  helps to improve absorption of Glutathione, contributes to normal immune function & collagen synthesis, helps to increase intracellular stores of Glutathione and works mainly in synergy with Glutathione.
  3. N-Acetycysteine – itImproves body’s Glutathione level and helps reduce free radicals.

Overall, Glutone 1000 has improved my uneven skin tone and has imparted glow and radiance to my skin.

What is Escor Z?

Escor Z is a Vitamin C supplement that comes in an effervescent tablet format. I take this along with Glutone 1000 and mix this in the same glass of water as Glutone 1000 and drink it every day. Escor Z is enriched with Phyllanthusembelica(Gooseberry/amla) extract which is considered as a rich source of Vitamin C. It helps fight free radicals, boosts collagen and lightens the skin.

Skin is always busy fighting with the enormous quantities of free radicals that are produced in our body when we are exposed to UV radiations, pollutions and chemicals. This free radical overload (FRO) interferes in the cellular metabolism as well as leads to collagen degradation and melanin overproduction. Balancing this FRO is important to ensure the health of the skin and also to prevent the loss of collagen. Phyllanthusembelica extract in Escor-Z is considered as a rich source of vitamin C. It helps fight free radicals, boosts collagen and lightens the skin.

Overall, Escor Z is very important to helps in neutralizing free radicals and lightens skin by reducing melanin pigment. It also increases production and transfer of anti ageing protein.

Why I consume Glutone 1000 and Escor Z together?

Though Glutone 1000 has vitamin C in it as an ingredient, it is not sufficient for effective results, hence EscorZ  provides that extra push for glutathione to work as it makes it easily absorbable in the body.Escor Z is the best Vitamin C supplement in the market. Because of its effervescent form it easily gets absorbed in the body and works along with glutathione tablets and gives effective results.

How to consume them and when will you start seeing the results?

Add  1 tablet of glutone 1000 and 1 tablet of Escor Z in a glass of water and wait for 2 mins for them to completely dissolve and then drink the water. The water tastes like a fizzy drink and is quite yummy. It is advised to consume daily in the morning, empty stomach.

For effective and actual results, you have to take them for minimum 4 months and the results will be visible after 30+ days with optimum use and proper diet.

Are there any side effects?

Both Glutone 1000 and Escor Z are health supplements and not medications, hence they are safe to consume without any side effects.

Where to buy them?

Overall Glutone 1000 and Escor Z are said to be the best skin improving combo out there in the market that have shown the most positive skin whitening results and have great reviews from its customers. Trusted by hundreds of doctors and celebrities across the country, ClickOnCare is the Largest Cosmaceutical, Dermaceutical & Nutraceutical Online store In India.

Fiama Scents Review – An Aromatic Journey

With the end of the year right around the corner, I tend to pamper myself with bath products that make me feel just a little extra special. I don’t know what it is, maybe December is that beautiful month of the year when everything is coming to an end and you want to cosy up and indulge yourself in magical fragrances to say goodbye to yet another year in the best way possible. When I think about the best fragrances in bath products, @fiamaindia’s body washes immediately come to my mind. The affordable yet luxurious body washes from ITC’s leading personal care brand and the 2nd largest shower gel brand in the country, Fiama, has been a staple in my bath for as long as I can remember. This unconditional trust I have in their brand made me want to try out #FiamaScents – a new range of innovative body washes from Fiama that is crafted with a #TouchActivatedFragranceTechnology.

What is #TouchActivatedFragranceTechnology you ask? Well, it is a fragrance encapsulation technology that enables fragrance release with a slight rub on the skin that lasts for as long as 8 hours after a bath. This breakthrough technology enables long lasting fragrance delivery through skin friendly micro fragrance capsules which burst on touch or a slight rub. I was mesmerised by this new innovation and didn’t really believe until I tried it for myself! And boy, once I tried it, there was no going back. It is definitely an experience you all need to try.

Fiama Scents comes in two exotic variants – Juniper Berries & Geranium and Mimosa & Neroli body washes. I first tried the Mimosa & Neroli body wash which smells absolutely divine. It smells like wild oranges and mimosa’s and reminds of exotic Sunday brunches by the beach. The Juniper Berries & Geranium body wash has a fruity, flowery scent that smells yummy and fresh at the same time. When I first used it, my entire bathroom was enveloped in this burst of berry freshness. Both the scents lasts for 8 hours as they are formulated with cutting-edge technology that makes them the #MostLongLastingFrangrance amongst body washes in India. As someone who enjoys taking long showers, I recommend Fiama Scents 100% as it is a definite level up when it comes to innovative bath experiences and scents since it indulges not just my sense of smell but also my sense of touch and it will ensure you experience the #JoyOfBathing to the fullest! But #warning, they are addictive! These days each bath I take with Fiama Scents is a delightful experience of  its own and I look forward to it everyday.
